Monday night cocal pool closes around midnight sometimes earlier. I was there monday September 2 .

Go out to the main street, turn left (north) its about 5 min walk on the other side of the main street. Its tagged on google maps. The internet says it is open Monday night but closed Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Weird hours. Personally I'm more an early guy, been there only once.

Remember it isn’t Cocal where you can assume every Chica is selling. Much more mixed crowd. Many local Ticos with their girlfriends. Be certain who you are propositioning or your night could end badly.

I would be very careful at the other clubs after midnight. I went to the Orange club about 2 am and it was nothing but Ticos in basketball jerseys with plenty of tatoos. Hanging out at the CROS'S is more my style

I completely agree with Hank, exactly what I saw. I was with a friend that had been a bouncer in a strip club in Miami, now management. Someone I respect in assessing the situation in a bar. I’m 6’2” 220 and was the smaller of the two of us. We are going to be noticed. We were getting a lot of sideways glances from groups of Ticos. A bouncer is unconsciously going to give off a threatening vibe, it’s their job. We definitely got the feel we were not welcome there. Never escalated to the level we felt we had to leave, but my friend advised be very careful which girls you talk to.
