I have a credit card that provides me a rebate of one night's charge on stays of four nights or more. However, I'll have to use their concierge to book Castillo and/or Amistad, and they won't book all inclusive rates that are more than the standard rate. Will I be able to upgrade to all inclusive at check-in?

You should call or email the hotel directly. While Matt does post here, this is a question best asked directly to the hotel.

No you would not be able to add all inclusive if booked through a third party. It is always best to book directly as we add the commission to third party sites

Matt (or anyone else who knows),

I will be returning to the Castillo on May 24th - 28th. Should I pay cash in $USD or CRC to get the best deal for my excellent hotel stay in the zoo penthouse? I paid a credit card exchange rate this past March and was advised not to do that again, if possible. I'm really looking forward to returning. I had a great time and can't say enough positive things about Louis at the front and Ernesto & Monica behind the bar...or the incredible all-inclusive deal your establishment currently offers. The food was fantastic also. We tried La Amstad for a few meals as well. A+++ on all accounts.
