What does a taxi cost from the gulch to Cima Escazú? Also, do the Escazú buses come anywhere near the gulch?

iirc a taxi to escazu was usually $20 depending on the time
if you go in rush hour obviously you will sit in traffic and pay more

Bus from parque ministerio salud (merced av 6,C14)...get off 6 stops C.C.El Angel /K.F.C. stop....walk to hospital....if your going regularly to hospital...if not catch an Uber there..

Take an Uber. The app will give you the cost (it will be about half the cost of a taxi).

Depending on your pickup/drop-off location, it will be about a $5-10 Uber...about. Uber is less susceptible to traffic costs than official taxis.
