Been to CR a handful of times now but have never been outside of San Jose. Just booked my next trip for 5 nights staying at LA for 4 nights, and I am going to try Jaco for a night. Appreciate any hotel advice. That have safes, security, wifi, no chica fees and not too pricey. Hotel Cocal looks very expensive. I was thinking about Crocs.

The Cocal can be expensive, but it is ground zero in Jaco. You also do not have to waste cab fees to go back to your hotel once you find a chica like you would if staying at Crocs. I have not stayed in Crocs yet, but I have enjoyed both of my stays at the Cocal.

Mango Mar right next door to Cocal, has all you want in a room but cheaper than Cocal

The promo video still shot shosthe Mango mar (with pool) on left and Cocal on the right, you can see the Cocal pool area very slightly. Vista mar condos are the high rise in the back.

I cant get the video to play though

Can anyone add to this list, booking shows many many more hotels within walking distance, which ones are "guest friendly"

Zabamar on calle cocal isn't beachfront and charges $10 I believe. Mango the safes/wifi sucks, cocal wifi sucks.

I've had good luck with Hotel Poseidon. Rooms are clean. Guest friendly.
