Check out "geckotrail.com" to book shared rides. Will cost less than individual taxi or Uber.

Hundreds. SJ to Jaco is a couple hundred for a van. And that's a 4 lane.

SJ to Lim in is up Route 32 over the central mountains anthen east from Guapalies to Limón. Much farther and more congested on a 2 lane road.

Might want to consider a flight from Quepos to SJO, and then SJO to Limon on Sansa.
