I loved staying at The Castillo but with its on going renovations I thought of the Hemingway Inn. It looks nice and good location for me. Does anyone know if it's chica friendly and if yes is there a fee.

I don't believe so. It's more of a 'shared-room' hostel, and doesn't want temporary visitors.

I too stayed there just over a year ago.

It looks nice from the outside but let me tell you--the rooms are absolutely horrible. I wrote about my experience shortly after I stayed there. If you do a search you will find the comments. I would never stay there again.

Thanks for the heads up. I saw them offering excellent deals on bookings.com and almost took the bait.
