We should probably parse out a distinction here.

I presume an "overnight guest" applies to TLN - bringing the breakfast ticket into the equation? If so, I'd think shorter guest visits do not incur the charge?

Yes, if you check-in a guest for overnight stay, they will charge you $10. They assume that your "guest" will want to eat breakfast and that is why they charge it. The breakfast is better than the typical rolls with butter you get at many hotels.

1st time I stayed at the Dunn was back in 2012. As a newbie I wasn't quite sure what was their chica policy. Front desk told me there's no chica-fee for CRT VIP.

Everytime I stay there I would show them my CRT card. Never been charge a fee for an overnight guest.

Yeah, under the old management, yes. But things have changed 'round here.

Yup, was at the DI for Halloween 2015 and it's part of the paperwork they make you sign when you check in. But I also seem to recall that the chica still has to be there about 5 am or some such.

The reason I bring that up is, I had a chica waiting for me upon my arrival to the DI. We were going to do a TLN. She stayed for a few hours but became so bitchy (AC too cold etc) that I just suggested that she go home, probably about 2 or 3 am (which she did).

I did not get hit up with the fee when she left.

So yeah, it probably is all about the breakfast.
