I am thinking of going to Jaco for a few days on my next trip. What in your opinions are the best days of the week to go there. Looking at Chica to Gringo ratio and hotel rates.

Thursday thru Saturday nights seem to be the best but there is good action on most nights although Sunday then Monday seem slowest. As for hotel rates, not a lot of difference by day of the week but it is high season so most places in Jaco are relatively high. After April/May (depending on hotel), rates comes down.

I usually stay at the Tangeri ( caution: no chicas unless you initially check her in when you arrive), but they were full in December on a last minute trip, not to mention, what I used to pay $ 45 years ago, was now close to $200. So I checked Agoda, found a condo on other side of the river looking at the Tangeri for $ 81. Of course there was not the excellent staff, beautiful, quiet grounds, restaurant/bar, but in a pinch and for the disparity in price, I was good with it. Jaco Posada was the name
