Yesterday my wife and I decided to spend a night at La Amistad to celebrate our 15th aniversary.
We have stayed there a number of times in the past few years and have really enjoyed our time
there. I always request a large room on the 1st floor and go for the all inclusive package.
I was not aware that they do not honor the CRT dicount for the all inclusive package. I must say though,they seem to be slipping a bit in their attention to detail.
In the afternoon it was difficult to get a drink as the bartender was spending the majority of her time talking with a girl in the corner. And later she disappeared looking for an I pod that went missing from behind the bar. Then this morning at breakfast I filled out the order form asking for fried eggs, gallo pinto and tocineto. When the order came there was only 1 egg. I asked the waitress why am I getting only 1 egg. She said I should have said I wanted 2 eggs ????????????????.
However overall we enjoyed the night there. There was some action though.I went to the bar for a nightcap and found the lobby full of fuerza publica. There was a disturbance between a young black fellow and a really pissed off tica. Don't know how it ended I returned to my room with my drink.
Hope to return to the hotel sometime in the near future

Being a 3 fried egg amistad guy, I know there is a Line where you put how many eggs... seems like everyone knows that...

Also, I know Matt and Don have been very upfront about the CRT discount applying only to room stays from the beginning of the all inclusive...

i know being a frequent stayer at Amistad that ANY issue ive ever had it was addressed and resolved within seconds, and that was if it was Matt, Don, Rudy or Carlos....
