Saw that Southwest Airlines, no longer bound by the Wright Amendment, is starting to fly internationally.
Beginning in March, RT from Baltimore/Washington to Costa Rica for $403.
Unsure of other routes; website doesn't like me.

definitely watching for southwest to CR!
that aeromexico flight as well as copa airlines starts at 10 hours and goes to 22/
i won't spend that much time on a plane for a 5 1/2 hour flight but thanks for the heads up

So far only 1 route. Washington Dulles to SJO. Hopefully they will add some more soon. It's been rumored Hobby out of Houston but who know's. The problem here is, we are running out of gate space.

Yep...that 6 hour layover at Juarez (MEX) is truly a drag.
I usually grab a taxi and go to the Zocola for breakfast and some sightseeing.
A good way to pass the time between flights.
Gonna do the Aeromexico shuffle again on December 26...a bit more than $439.
Should be interesting.
