I have never stayed in the Mansion Wing before, have always stayed in the Modern wing. Decided that my next stay I would try the Mansion wing so I booked the Mini-Suite. It hasn't received the best reviews so I was hoping I might get some feedback on your thoughts on the Mansion deluxe.
What are the pros and cons on the two. Bed size and bathroom size etc.

Appreciate your thoughts and comments.

Sounds like you booked Zorro. Queen bed. Narrow room. Regular sized bathroom with a tub.

Search for Zorro, there's a recent thread discussing this and other Mansion rooms.

My reservation is in the mini suite next week. I will post my report during and after my trip.
It will be a blast!

I'll be looking for your post. If your review of the mini-suite is complimentary, I'll keep the room for January.

Ok, first night in the Hermosa room. Mini suite. It is just past the bar where the pool tables are, up the steps, and past the computer room.
Almost too close to the action, but I am fine with that. They closed the bar long before I was done partying.
The room is clean, modern, (by Costa Rican standards) has a king bed with a desk, night stands and tv on the desk, what you would call a separate room then an area with a table and chairs, then a bath with a big tub/shower.
View out to the road, no roof top,as was mentioned in others post. telephone, us electric plugs, and wifi.
I am quite happy. I like it better than the room I had in the mansion wing before. Bigger and just fine for what I need. Close to the party, the ice machine, etc.
I will send a few pics if anyone sends me their email by pm

Thanks for the review. Hermosa is a good room. You're in the Modern wing; OP was asking about the Mansion mini suite.
