The SL is a very confortable place to stay. I am a frequent guest at the Presidente but I am considering staying with friends at the SL for my next trip in July.

PROS:

1-excellent friendly hospitable service- Bill the owner will help you out with most anything

2-Comfortable surroundings- rooms, lounge area, bar & restaurant(alomost like being at home)

3-chica friendly-no registration

4-NO CHICA FEES

5-quiet upscale neighborhood

6-security guard posted around the clock

7-local non-pro talent is getting more frequent and better quality

8-Porn in every room via satellite

9-close proximity to Zona Blue and New Fantasy


CONS:

1-no a/c- but at this yime of year not needed, fans in the rooms

2- no room safe- hotel safe available to keep your cash and passport

3- food and beverage a little pricey

4-location hard to find by taxi drivers- just carry the SL business cards in your pocket, map on back and always ask before getting in. shouls only be 500 colones ride or 1000 by night

Think about what is important to you, SL is a great place to just hang and chill without sitting in your room. If you want the hotel experience, check out the Presidente.

Actually, wireless internet is only guaranteed in the common area.

I can't believe I never noticed the porn. I think the only time I had on the tv was when I had the Columbian chica in. She needed the white noise to block the sound of my camera landing in the bottom of her purse.
