So after getting a response from 9*N that Club Del Cielo does allow girls and they just need to give their ID at the gate I went ahead and booked the 2 bedroom condo. I had to put 20 percent deposit down to reserve it. After which, I got an e-mail from the reservation lady that said the following:
"If they are other type of visitors, they are allow after 11:00pm and must leave before 5:00am; they must be escort in and out of the complex using the back of the house sidewalk, their ID must be leave at security. They are not allow to use the common areas: pool, Jacuzzi and there is a charge of $15 per visitor."
Wow, $15 per visitor can add up. Does anyone know if there is away around this $15? I am not sure if I should just forfeit the 20 percent deposit and book somewhere that does not charge a chica fee. Any advice??
WOW - This is the kind of shit that really pisses me off - hell the Holiday Inn in San Jose is "chica friendly", assuming you pay the fee of $75+tax

- While I think and believe 9N offered advice in the spirit of friendship and helping out

, the above rules don't make this place cool or great.
That said, if you have already put down $$$ I'd really think twice about walking from your deposit - do the math and I'll bet it does not work out in your favor. This trip you might just have to accept their rules - lesson learned - ask before you send money, b/c things can change.
If you like Jaco, I'll give you a recommendation - check out Vista View - directly ajacent to the Hotel Cocal - not only is the place totally cool, its next door to the action in Jaco - I just returned from 5 days there friday night, so my intel is very up to date.
Although things change; places change their policies (Presidente in SJ is a great example), get sold, go up or down in value - another suggestion if you decide to break your reservation - try the Canciones del Mar or the Hotel Casa Blanca (they might have fees so ASK)
