I know, I know......but also check w/ Spirit - they have some current specials - I flew them in October; it was $199 r/t - much lower than the competition (and during that time American was having their problems with loose seats, among other issues - a friend was delayed like 4 hours - not saying the situation is the same now).

Don't want to turn this into a Spirit debate, b/c while I hate their business model and customer service <so called > I have flown them enough to say I've never had any issues with their flights - just plan to add at least $100 to the flight price to pay for a reserved seat and carry on luggage - they are an option that should be considered, especially if you are flying direct, without connections. Worth a look.

I love TACA, but for the past 2 years their pricing has been stupid; plus - only my opinion/preference - I don't like the times they fly - just MHO
