Can anyone describe what the difference is when you upgrade from "Economy" to "Business Special"? I surfed their site but i am not smart enough to figure it all out. What i read did not give me my answer.

It is a business class non-refundable fare. Since all of Americans aircraft going to SJO have a two class configuration, you'd be in first class with all the normal benefits. You even get the 25% bons miles. It is usually a decent deal, except if you have to change your plans, then as with regular coach, your screwed.
