What ID said. Here's their site, opened to their contact info including advertised live chat. Be aware they don't take American Express: http://www.secure-res.com/res/vn4/check ... telid=3044

It's wise to check on guest possibilities and fees in advance as their policy has changed over the years and might've changed again. Personal note: lovely hotel with a restaurant AND not known to be a monger's hotel so "civilian" when it appears on a CC statement. My fave room is the one opening to the pool. Harry's Bar Poas and some small restaurants right across the street.

Can't stress enough to call and talk with them before making your reservation - ask them what their policy is exactly - this hotel has been all over the place in its guest policies.

Personally, I'd stay elseware, although its a good location and unique in that they have a pool; few in San Jose do - but I'd still stay someplace else :) (Main reason; when I'm spending my hard earned money, I don't want to be "maybe" "tolerated" - plus its a totally BS fee - just my dos colonies :) )
