I know this is off topic because the guy asked clearly for Del Rey information which I believe for a first time visitor is the place to stay. Well remember my first 3 years of staying there 1998-2000 . I have since stayed 3 years at Presidente and the last 9 years at Morazan .
Here is what I am getting too. On the web site Hostelbookers.com you can get a private room / private bathroom " deluxe superior suite " whatever that means for 1 person $ 34.00 per night including breakfast. No chica fee. So I can stay there 3 nights for $ 108 total. Not the best place have stayed two nights when Morazan was full but for the money I am going to give it a try next visit. This is a great web site Hostelbookers.com for around the world. Check it out. Everyone have a great weekend. Uncle H.
Herman, it was posted that the Morazon (a favorite of mine too

) had a rate of $35/night for a standard room - not sure if they still do, but since its still "Green Season" may be worth a call - or checking their site - even if not listed, I'd still call and ask - if they do, I would not bother with
any place with hostel in the name- if you do, ask about their guest policy assuming you plan to "entertain" in your room
Also - one block from the Morazon (less actually) is Hotel Diana - across from Parque Morazon - they had large, fairly basic, rooms w/ bath for $35/night - If Morazon has the $35 special, that would settle it for me - but Hotel Diana may also be worth a look - again, nothing fancy; furniture looks a little run down, but a great location - also a nice massage/spa (100% legit

) operation run by a very pretty Colombiana - her boyfriend manages the hotel

Post back on what you decide.
