there is also an iPhone App that combines GPS with interactive options for the user. Such as, locating transit police. When you pass a location that someone has marked it asks you to confirm if there were still present in that location.

Particularly handy for those tourists out there coming to this country and the sharks that are in uniform extorting you for bribes that are higher than the actual ticket they are threatening you with.
