I have read that the La Amistad has VOIP and free calls to the US but also read that there is only one phone. Does this mean that they have one phone in the lobby area that is free calls to the US ?

I have an opportunity to work from CR and would need to make calls to the US from my room. If the free calls from the room are not available then I would have to look at getting Skype or Vonage.

+ 1. I concur. At La Amistad, you can make calls to the U.S. from your room for free.
