I am looking for a little information on the room Las Palmas in the modern wing. I prefer a room that is almost cave like, dark as possible, especially the early mornings in San Jose. Thanks for the help.

If you like dark quiet rooms at SL, I suggest either las Palmas or Amante (upstairs) I've stayed in both and I like a dark quiet room with drapes that I can open during the day and let in lots of light. You won't be dissapointed with either room.
