Ok, considering coming down for a 5 night stay. In looking at the hotel website I'm a bit confused. It shows the "King Room" at $79/night. Also shows the "Studio Apartment" at $99/night. Yet when looking at the CRT VIP Discounts page the following is listed for La Amistad.

(Standard Room Rate) Queen Bed / Ceiling fan / all of the above listed amenities.
$65.00 Nightly

(Standard Large) Queen Bed / AC / All of the above listed amenities
$69.00

(Standard with Kitchen) Queen Bed / AC / all of the above listed amenities.
$79.00

(Apatment) King Bed / AC / All of the above amenities.

$89.00

There's no "King Room" listed and the "Apartment King Bed" which I'm assuming is the Studio apartment is listed for $89 where as the website says $99.

Needless to say, I'm a little confused.

Which rooms, besides the PH suites would people recommend at La Amistad? Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.

I don't think the price section on the VIP section have been updated in ages, I would suggest calling Matt & Co. with any questions, they will be more than happy to help.

yeah the prices were old and did get updated but knowing Matt who is an honest man and runs a great place would honor those prices to you esp to you a stand up guy from boston and a CRT member unlike the pc Matt does the right thing

Ok. I pulled the trigger with my wingman on a 5 night stay at La Amistad from January 27 - Feb 1. Rooms were a little bit scant booking this close to the dates. They had a couple PH suites available but then we would have to move after a couple days into another room. Figured we'd just stick it out in 2 Queen rooms for 5 nights. Is it really that much of a downgrade from say a King room at Amistad or Modern wing room at SL?

Originally planned on SB weekend the following week but the room situation throughout SJ that weekend was dismal in trying this late.

Looking forward to getting back down to CR again!!
