Thanks for all the great post, and the time spent by the board members to make this a very informative board.

Can anyone tell me.

1. How to buy a discounted first or bus. class ticket on Delta from Atlanta to SJ?

2. How to be certain the ticket is usable, prior to purchase.

3. If anyone has one for sale, please let me know.
Thanks

Just so there is no confusion, Delta's 767s from ATL to SJO only have coach and business class seating.

Round-trip reservations on Delta flights #1759/#564 (Feb 21st, 10:48AM departure, Feb. 28th, 3:00PM return) are:

Coach (T/Q) = $480 (deeply-discounted) (resv. on the other flights (T/H) was $530)
Coach (Q) = $597 (discounted)
Coach (M) = $797 (flexible)

Business (C/D) = $1837 (That would more than cover the cost of the entire trip for me if flying coach.)

ALL FOR FLYING ON THE SAME AIRPLANE! Same movie and in coach the same seats and same meals.

BTW, Delta has SJO listed as "Helsinki - Vantaa Arpt - Costa Rica - CR", did they rename the airport?

I like the 767's. The best thing is that they have 4 aisle seats, 2 window seats and only one middle seat per row. Also, Atlanta is usually a good place to enter the US, though once the computer was down and it took about 90 minutes to do what usually only takes about 5-10.
