Looks like I'm out of luck at the Presidente. Have a business trip in three weeks. I heard the Sleep Inn next to the DR is chica friendly and nice place to stay. Can anyone confirm?

If you consider a $25.00 chica fee acceptable then you have it correct. It is a nice place to stay since it is in the gulch, next to the Colonial for gambling and dining and a fairly new modern property.

And they only allow one chica at a time.

I've stayed there a few times on some trips, it's a nice place alright, just like a Sleep Inn here in the US. Good breakfast buffet. The chica fee didn't bother me since I did all my fun at Zona Blue on those trips. :D Probably a good strategy to do only MP's if you want to stay at SI, save the fee for when a favorite chica wants to come over or if you find a special one at HDR.

Do the chicas get a cut of the $25? My favorita and her sister both told me I should stay at the SI next time I was down. When I made reservations at SL and let her know, she again said I should stay at SI.

hotel occupancy is down for alot of locations in san jose.
this is probably the best value for the money in the gluch.
i know someone who did three days for one price thru the internet with this hotel, then he used the front desk phone to call the usa to get another good sleep inn website rate when the front desk wouldn't match the rate he was quoted. he handed the phone right to the staff when they said it wasn't possible to get that rate. the us sleep inn gave the locals the confirmation number for four more days.
