I will be arriving in Sjo on 4/10 and Im concerned cause I dont have hotel reservations. Ive been before and did the same thing but had to split my stay at two hotels last trip (which is ok with me). Yet since ive heard rumors about the holiday being such a big deal there will it effect my luck on getting a decent hotel room? Also what is it like in SJO the week after easter?

You shouldn't have any trouble making reservations but couldn't you have checked with the hotel easier than posting a thread on CRT?

There are always hotel rooms available in San Jose. The question is are rooms that are in your price range and that offer the "amenities" you are looking for available.

I was thinking of a hotel like europa or morazon. My price range is up to 65 or 70 a night, but id like to spend about 50 something. dont want chica fee.

did u check amistad? freebird?

If you're staying at least 7 days, a queen bed room at the Amistad will be $52 after the 25% weekly rate CRT discount, otherwise it's $60 for less than a week. No chica fee.
