So it sounds like from responses it is a combination of the weekend being picked and the length of stay. I did think about the length of stay when I booked. It is tempting for me to pick seven or more days but it probably harder to find a hotel that has all those days free. I am heading out Martin Luther King day weekend for 5 days so that might make a difference. Maybe next time I will just get myself a longer list of hotels and just move around like others do.

I just found it odd that I am getting a flight cheaper than I ever have before despite the high gas prices. Mostly because it is easier to search for a cheap flight than ever before.
