Iam planning a two week vacation in costa rica this septemeber. I have never been to tamarindo but I have herd that is is really nice.

What are some chica friendly hotels and good bars to go to their?

I had no trouble at Hotel Pasatiempo or Hotel Zullymar with chica's. But, Pasatiempo is nicer.

The bar scene is different every night in Tamarindo. Five or six different places have a party going on that shifts from one bar to the next every night. That way they don't put each other out of business. Ask locals which places for which nights. I just can't remember, but Pasatiempo and the monkey Bar are two of them.

Another option is the Hotel Chocolate. Need little wooded and cement place, Patio or balcony, AC, small pool, kitchette, suicide shower that works pretty well and lots of personality. a short walk from the beach.
