I have stayed at the Amon Plaza and its the ONLY place I gamble.
Its true Nixon is NOT ALWAYS in the Casion...BUT who is ALWAYS at WORK 24 hrs a day???..He is there every day you just have to catch him in...when I am there he always comes up to be to talk and say hi.
the ONLY trouble I ever had at the Hotel was they tried to charge me a chica fee and I had to get Nixon to go to the desk and take care of it..after he talked to them they never charged me again.

A discount packet??? The CRT members discount is the rate you get booking thru the casino.
I have stayed at the Amon 6-8 times in the last 18 months and any problem I have had was taken care of in very timely manner. On my last trip in Feb I noticed a card on the night stand about changing the sheets and it said if you wanted them changed daily hang the card on the doorknob.

Well, I did enjoy the Saturday poker tournament (hope this is the right place). I personally certainly do not want to deal with third party hotel problems when in vacation. I guess that is why since I found the HP I haven't stayed anywhere else. If I need something they respond within minitues. In addition, they treat my guest with the same respect as they do me.....

When I'm in town I will see you for the 2:00 poker game.

It just amazes me to how many of you dispute my claims on Amon Plaza... :shock:

Sooooooooooo let me just state: ONE MORE TIME:

THE PLACE SUCKS..... :oops::oops::oops:

There are just too many "MUCH MORE CLASSIERS HOTELS TO STAY IN SJ...For the price that this dump charges.....$90..bucks a night is no deal for SJ.. :?

So if you like sleeping on soiled sheets ...dealing with lousy room service- eating colds sandwiches. Encountering Snooty front desk clerks …
Then by all means ..Book a room @ Amon Plaza….:roll::roll::roll:

Forgive then, but then that means the Hotel Hemingway has higher standards.. .. :evil::evil::evil:

The bedbugs come free w/the room….. :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

Iggy, I don't dispute your claims . I only reported my experiance with the hotel which was vastly different from yours. Had I had your experiance I would never stay there again. However , for me , I enjoyed the stay , the sheets were clean & the stay was very pleasent. This is not my first choice but if my preferred Hotel is unavailable I would gladly stay there again.

I apologize for getting so bent Guys, but from what I read about Amon plaza in previous threads, I was hyped!

It just wasn’t what I expected, and it still bugs me. When I read a new thread about the place, I just go off…. Must be my PDSD…… :shock::shock::shock:

Let me state this though:
If you can into my place of business, and I knew that you were new to my place.

Everyone of my crew, including myself would bust their ass to give that NEW CUSTOMER … great service, sorta like Bill @ the SL. Now there is a “Great Host”.... 8)

PS: Bill I'll see you on the 25th.... :wink:

Need I say more, or should we just let this thread R.I.P.
