I do want to be buried in Costa Rica, and I would much prefer the following inscription,

"Aqui se tumba un hombre valiente, que murio para proteger la estructura de costos de la industria de transporte de Costa Rica. Un hombre que valoro los principios y 2000 colones mas que la vida."

But I'm I little worried that I might come across as a cheap bastard to future generations. Right now 2000 colones is a lot of money, but with Costa Rican inflation the way it is, I don't think it's going to be a lot in the future.

You shouldn't be... they don't actually charge you for anything, it's only as a guarantee, just like a hotel. You can still pay cash to the driver.

You fax or email a form to them. On it, is your CC number, signature, and the exact amount that you are authorizing them to charge you, if you don't show.

That's the most they can charge you. Anything over, you aren't responsible for, you will have the document in hand to prove it.

I've used them on several occasions, always smooth transactions and very professional.

I'll be using them in May, already booked it.
