so just stumbled across the Hotel La Amistad deal and wish I would have last week. From what I gather by reading on their website I could book a King size room with all meals/drinks included for around $100 a night, right. I possibly may be returning in Late January or early Feburary so just trying to find the best deal. As of now it may be solo for work and this sounds like a really good deal if I'm understanding it correctly. For those of you who have stayed here how are the rooms,WI-FI, food and I'm sure the location is good (most are in the SJ area) |

Yes, you are understanding that correctly. I've stayed at LA a few times. The King (King sized Bed) rooms are a little bigger than the Queens. Plenty of hot water and the food is delicious. The all inclusive is a good deal, ESPECIALLY if you drink alcohol. ![]() To be fair though, breakfast is included in the non all inclusive price. The non all inclusive price is also covered by the CRT discount 25% off the weekly rate etc. https://costaricaticas.com/membership/ If you stay more than 4 nights your ride back to the airport is free. Also, if there's a problem Matt, Rudolfo, Carlos and Darin will do their best to rectify the situation. Oh, almost forgot, the Wifi always worked good for me and I've met a lot of cool people there. The LA is my hotel of choice while in SJO. |

yeah the free transfer to/from the airport and to Jaco if needed with 4 night stay is a great deal. Yes I drink alcohol so would def be taking advantage of the beers for sure. What is the atmosphere like are there potential guests hanging out around the bar etc like at SL or ML? I remember walking by LA last week but didn't go in the establishment. |

Officially, unescorted chicas are not allowed to hang out in the lobby/bar, but I have met a few there, just depends..lol All in all it has a little different vibe than SL or ML, more laid back and at the same time close enough to the action. Btw, SL is about a block away. |

Thanks diego1 and sounds like it could be a winner esp if I can have all meals there. I don't really care to hop around eat lots of diff spots and knowing I can just go grab a beer at the bar included would be nice Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Amistad is great. 1---good is awesome and free during the all inclusive 2---rooms are clean and WiFi works great. 3---good atmosphere of men enjoying the girls/their drinks. Red flag----train noise early morning Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
