Dirty Jeff posted, I just want to confirm what was just posted. Jimmy and I are friends. I would not even use the term butting heads as much as I would say "Growing Pains". The First few months had so many things to address. But Jimmy could not be more correct as to says we all look out for each other, SCORES, ZONA 2, SPORTSMEN'S MONA LISA OR LA AMISTAD. And we all have a great working relationship. The stronger downtown is the better it is for everyone, Businesses, guest and tourists alike!! and as I wrote on another thread. Costa Rica is not an easy place to do business. The paperwork issues in this country are non stop. and this sort of problem in no way reflects on the business or management , it's just Costa Rica!!!

It took me 2+ months and an attorney just to get my own electric meter for my cigar store.
Oh yes, The Security Ministry came into my shop at 12 midnight Friday night. When I walked up to my store, I thought it was something serious, about 50 officials and a fleet of vehicles. When I get a call from Jimmy that late at night, I know there is a problem.
There is a lot of mutual respect between all the expat businessmen. Sometime feathers get ruffled, but it gets put back in order and perspective in a short time.
I get regular referrals from Bill, Matt, Guy, Jeff and Jimmy. For that I am grateful and say "Thank You"!
