In the past I have spoke personally with Angie to book my reservations, but anyone at the front desk should be able to help with reservations for CRT members.

How far out would you recommend making a reservation? I tried a few dates last year and they where sold out

The place was full a couple weeks ago, which I noticed when I checked-in. I made the reservation for a Friday and Saturday night a week in advance.

I suspect things might slow down in another month as the rainy season gets gets heavy. I think Jaco is more affected than San Jose by the rain. However, I could be wrong.

If staying at the Cocal is key to the trip, and I can understand why, then I would book as far as in advance as possible along with the flight to Costa Rica.

Does this discount extend to the sister property Vista Mar?

I'm sorry, but the discount only applies to the Cocal. However, you might still ask when making a reservation.

At this time the discount only applies to your hotel stay and not to food or beverages.

This is two years old so just hoping to get an update before I book.

Is this still Cocal only? I am thinking about booking Vista Mar and wondering if anyone has tried to get a discount or if there is any update to this sticky.

so whats the place like now? Im getting ready to book my 1st trip there in october

I was there for a fri nite a few weeks ago Got the CRT discount of $175 for ocean view room room wasn't worth it but I have never seen such an incredible line of chicas anywhere

Still can't believe that they can charge $175 (with discount) for those shitty rooms. I guess it's like the famous saying... "Bring in the hookers, and they will come..."
