They have the Best Tuna Steak Dinner I have ever had!

It's a annual ritual to go there and have the Tuna Steak.

It's that good.

Do they still have the Biscuits and Gravy for breakfast? I remember staying there back around 2003-4 and it was great.

That's great!!! I like enjoying any cultures local cuisine but it is nice to get something like that at such an unexpected place like Jaco. Not to mention it is prepared as well as anywhere you would find in the EEUU. Thanks for the reply, DRD

Is it on the beach side of the main street or on the up-hill or mountain side of the main street?

Is it south or north of the Subway sandwich shop?

I hadn't been to Jaco in years. It appears to be better than it used to be.

Drove the new toll road and it took about an hour and a half. Seems like every time I settled into a cruising speed there was another toll booth. It beats the first time I went there in the 80s, you would drive one Km, then three Km on gravel with deep ruts; then two Km on pavement and then there would be a fallen tree blocking the road, or the road had washed out and you had to go into the on-coming lane because your lane was now a gindo, and so on . . .

Went ziplining and quad riding while there. Had a blast. There was a large group of choppers-and-squirters (firemen from NYC) on a long weekend bachelor's party. Poor guy. But all in all they were pretty funny guys.

I want to go again but going ziplining by yourself isn't the same as going with a group of like minded mongers.

I will PM you Rohogrande. I changed the host for my website on Monday and they told me it would be unavailable for some reason for 24-48 hours during the changeover. Not quite sure why, as I am not a webmaster...

^ Most likely they had to change the DNS (Domain Name Services) entries for your domain name when you moved your site from one server to another server... The DNS entry is what associates your domain name with the physical IP address assigned to the domain name on the host's servers...

Think of it as that you just moved to a new address and were assigned a new telephone number... The new telephone number takes 24 - 48 hours to propagate across all the Tier 1 domain servers on the internet, so when people lookup Thirdworld, they find the correct telephone number...

I know, geek-speak... Also known as job security...
