I understand as I go to the the DR a lot, going tomorrow for 5 days in Boca Chica. In Sosua, the term "Weekend Warrior" is used in a derogatory manner. There are a number of reasons for the demise, and crack down, in Sosua and the weekend guys are receiving a lot of the blame. The crackdown in the DR probably should be the subject of a seperate thread.

As for CR it seems to me that Thursday -Saturday are the best days. Based on the cost of chicas and hotels, about 2X that of the DR, IMHO it is not really worth it to stay over on a Sunday. I guess that makes me a "weekend warrior" in the CR.
