Are property prices coming down in any “meaningful” way compared to say a year ago?

I’ve been looking for the past couple years at buying a modest size house or a lot and building but have been taking my time since I’m in no rush. Actually did make an offer a year ago on a Sarchi property but it was turned down so wondering, given the significant economic changes this past year, whether the RE market as softened up there too.

Guancaste = booming like never before
Escazu, Santa Ana, Rohrmoser = prices have maintained, maybe even risen a bit for premium properties

In other areas its hit or miss...but definitely not a large widespread correction. You can get decent prices on places off the beaten path...Ive always like Atenas but thats been a popular place lately. Likewise, grecia is in a bit of a boom right now.
