Anyone tune into this? https://theexpatfiles.podbean.com/ The podcaster Johnny Mueller has episodes going back to 2010 and they're all free. I have found a lot of what he says to be true in my visits to Costa Rica but he's quite jaded as well. He regularly shits on Costa Rica for being over run with gringos (he's not completely wrong, and I prefer a place with lots of gringos) but I still find his perspective informative and entertaining. Has anyone attended his Expat Insider seminar he's always advertising? There hasn't been one in quite some time thanks to Covid but I believe he runs them occasionally out of Guatemala. This site - https://therealjohnnymueller.com/ - makes it hard to know if his seminar is worthwhile or not. |

If you want one that is CR focused, check with ARCR.net for a relatively inexpensive 2-day seminar ($100?). It is not monger focused. Generally held on a Friday and Saturday at a downtown hotel. Includes meals and coffee service. In by 8am out by 5pm.
