One thing is perfectly clear about the CR real estate market: It is MUCH easier to buy a property there than to sell it. For a short-term situation (couple years or so) I would NEVER buy a property there especially considering how affordable the rents are. |

As a long time owner and sometime seller of real estate in CR, please for the love of God rent, DON'T buy anything in country. This applies to real estate, vehicles, women and finally dreams. |
