If a car is purchased and financed at a dealership in CR, is insurance part of the payment or is it paid separately to INS? |

I bought a new car from a local dealership a year ago. You will need to talk to your insurance agent before you pick up the car. The insurance agent and the car dealer will communicate with each other. Just like in the states the insurance agent needs the VIN number, type of car, etc. My insurance agent and car salesman emailed the information to each other. Very seamless!! |

You have to pay it separately. There are several insurance companies, not only INS. |
