Post subject:  Question About Online Translators

What would be a pretty good online English-Spanish translator to use for Costa Rican Spanish????

These translators are nowhere near perfect, but some are better than others. Some will evolve, too, so they may be better now than they used to be.

For a monger with virtually no Spanish skills, what would be a good online translator to use to avoid being slapped in the face or slapped in jail????

Not exactly on point but featured on LeadBonanza's mention was this list of Hispanic artists and their most popular(?) songs:

I thank 'yall for the replies so far to my OP.

What I'm really after is a recommendation on which of the several English-Spanish translators would be the most accurate for Costa Rican Spanish. I don't want to get slapped in the face for saying something rude.

I've started Spanish classes, but maybe a skilled Spanish speaker would know which of the translators to recommend for being more accurate than the others.

Thanks, if ya can.

google works well, but as with any language, there are expressions unique to the country that no translator will give you.
any spanish works in cr, but they have their own special street slang that is not understood anywhere else in latin america.

get on one of the girls 'real'facebook account and you will see how they really talk amongst themselves.

below is a link you might interesting.
