With the increases of prices lately, my wife and I are looking for places to buy resonably priced seafood. We hit the Ferias whenever possible, but its not always an option. Does anyone know a good Marisqueria near Escazu? We can't seem to find one and I'm tired of paying the prices at Automercado. |

I have been told there is a good one near Walmart (disclaimer: I have not tried it. ![]() |

Thanks! Its called Mister Fish. I have been in there and its VERY EXPENSIVE. I'm looking for a local Marisqueria with prices similar to what you might find at the fish market. I realize that there are options downtown in the Central Market. However, I really hate going there. |

It's worth the effort to go to Central Market in San Jose. I can't direct you exactly to the shop but one little market sells fresh yellowfin tuna (4,000 col/kilo) swordfish as well as the normal corvina, mahi mahi etc |

Plus there is a small seafood store in downtown Santa Ana, on the corner after the church. |
