is one asking the right questions? ...getting a lot of answers you want ot hear?...costa rica really emerged on the expat scene through a series of world bank loans ..actually outright give aways...culminating in a 90s whopper of 10 billion...these were leveraged into 100s of billions of trade concessions..currency manipulations and swaps with european and other latin american countries..including money laundering and distribution of the dregs of proceeds thru sophisiticated means in most countries and not so sophisticated in costa rica (the brothers..etc..).with expats wallowing in 40per cent a year interest..the local population got a few buses..xray machines..and a big shwantz in the ass.setting the stage for gringoitis..the tico K*ds grow up hearing mom and dad ...grandma..grandpa...talking about ...just another gringo...i hate the gringos...Phuck the gringos...if you speak a little spanish youll hear cashiers telling people from other latin countries..why did you come here?..we dont want you here...Phuck the gringos..they dont even know why..whatever you experience on a personal level as a gringo...its against the backdrop of an envious zenophobic uneducated(except for eight or nine formative years of marxist horeshit in pathetically political schools)population ..where stealing from the family ..friends..the vulnerable..is not only accepted ...but the butt and the highlight of family gatherings and parties..and sadly is just another page in the encyclopedia of latin fatalism reflected in the eyes of a country full of angry passive victims..waiting for the grand chieftains to slash out their heart..and toss their worthless bodies back down the stairs....once the relatively cheap and accessible pussyfactor "thrill" is quenched...youre left with wandering about ...paying hundreds of dollars for driving gringo...paying triple u s for a car...and 500 to 600 per cent more than u s markup on 20 bucks a square foot houses and condos..whole groups of gringos..ticos ..colombians..with a plan to scam and skin you while laundering money at the same time..beaches seething with bacterica..feces..medical waste..wholly untreated sewage from a million people swirling around you and the parasitic leech ..you brought to the beach chinese foods and products rejected by other countries relabled marked up and sitting on shelves ..poisonous toothpaste..health food..candy..dry dairy.. products and protein supplements full of melamine..leaving some nice necrotic abcesses and lumps in your already stressed kidneys.. from parasites and the fecal strains of bacteria in the drinking water...when you pay the taxes on your house or condo for years ..then need to check something at the assessors..you find theres no record of your payments..even though you have receipts ..next year and thereafter ..same scenario...the judge or lawyer ..politician or cop...really wants that nice place youve spent your life saving on for her grandkids.. i realize this is all just jumbled ridiculous narrative running on a loop of the subliminal behind the ads full of shiny ornaments ... the cheappussi and dreams of having a grateful lifepartner snatched from the jaws of rampant stupidity and ignorance by her big strong "fuckinggringo" ps ..dont worry ...theyrll be lots of expats to salve and rationalize your doubts ...whether for profit ..or fantacizing about those gringas that didnt want them.. living in envy and regret...
