Guys, anyone know a place that sells xbox game copies and does service?

most cell phone and or computer stores will do the repairs on site as well as sell game copies.

You have to have them install a chip that is about 15,000 colones to play the 2.000 colones copies that are readily available.

There are also plenty of cubicles in the malls that will do this. I would suggest the Carriari mall or Mall San Pedro rather than Multiplaza as things tend to be much more expensive in multiplaza

I can't think of anywhere specific... just take a look around. For example, your next trip to the grocery store look around the shopping center. If there is a computer or cell phone store in the shopping center ask if they do anything for xbox.

I cannot remember specifically but I think there is a place near the Taco Bell in Escazu.

I also don't know exactaly what area of escazu you live in

I have only found two places here. Multi plaza and a wal mart

Off course it is. The OP is now a resident of Costa Rica. You might find it hard to believe but residents as opposed to tourists do have a real life besides a monger life and turn to other things rather than sitting in a bar swapping war stories to fill in the gaps.

Do you buy any sports packages online through your xbox. Thinking of buying one or a playstation for football season.

Forgot about this thread during the day. Will check with the guys in the office on Tuesday, a bunch of them are gamers. Gdizzle, I will definitely make sure and check out what it takes to make packages work. Not sure why there would be a problem if paying, I wonder if you have to trick the site by faking an IP address from the States.

Yeah. You can get any of the services if you setup a dsl or cable modem/router with a vpn with an american server.

Netflix, hulu. Ect. Can all be run this way. Of course with the crappy internet in CR it may not look that good.

Was in the HDR yesterday and got a tip from one of the guys working there. He mention the mall in san pedro. Bingo! There where at least a dozen shops with xbox stuff. Got my xbox updated for 30 bucks
