Anyone have good intel on these apartments. I found them online and they look really nice, and the price is really nice also. I have nothing keeping me in FL and have been serious about moving down to CR for a year or two just for a change of pace. Seems like a really good deal that they offer but I always question what may be too good to be true. If anyone is familiar with them or stayed there themselves any info you may have would be appreciated.

I stayed there for 3 months about 4 yrs ago. Unless they have new owners forget about bringing girls back. The owner is a gringa who will ask many questions if she thinks you are that type.

Look at vista linda apts, hard to beat. This will give you some time to adjust to CR and have some fun also.

Before I arrived in CR, I found the Villa Lakshmi website and Dios Mio! I am happy that I didn't sign up for a 3 month lease! I got an email from them at a later date and they informed me that they have a
"no smoking, no partying, NO Prostitutes rule" I didn't get into a debate about what if I want to bring my "girlfriend" back to my apartment.
I have been staying at VistaLinda since Dec 2011 and in my opinion it is a really good choice. No problems bringing 1 or 2 chicas in, you can rent a nice apartment for a week, and it's close enough that you can walk into San Jose or take a bus for around 50 cents. It's almost all gringos living there and the wealth of info available from guys who have been in CR for 5 to 10 years is invaluable. A real plus for guys wanting to stay here long term is that they don't require a deposit !
