Does anyone in this group live in the Grecia area, particularly Los Angeles de Grecia? I would appreciate an estimate of the elevation.

I live in Grecia. Don't know the exact elevation of Los Angeles but I think it is pretty low. Nice areas with 3500-4000 elevation are San Rogue and San Isidro. Perfect climate.

Try using Google Earth...it will give you exact elevations. I live in San Ramon at about 3500ft. and think Grecia is similar. Definitely a perfect climate at that altitude with the exception of the rain in Sept. and Oct.

Grecia is the primary target on my target list for when I decide to move to CR. Earlier on I was focused on buying a home but now I've come to the conclusion that renting makes much more sense. To those that live in Grecia or are familiar with the area is it safe to assume that with a rental budget of up to $800.00 p/month that I should be able to find a pretty decent 2 bedroom house or condo there? Thx.

Feel free to PM me for info on Grecia. Your budget will get you a nicely furnished 2/2 with an awesome view.

And yes, Grecia is a fantastic place to live. Bought my house just over 2 years ago and love it. Great location to get almost anywhere in CR, especially if you decide to go to the gulch to monger
