I am going on a visa run next week to Panama and am wondering if anyone knows if my Kolbi prepaid sim will work in Panama City for calls within Panama, back to CR and/or to the US? If not, is it possible to purchase a sim card in Panama that I can use for these calls? Any info will be much appreciated. Cheers - Woozo |

Here is one solution http://www.telestial.com/view_product.php?ID=LSIM-PA02 Panama is eons ahead of Costa Rica in cell phone service and number of suppliers so I am sure their are competitors to the company that the link describes. |

It may work to receive sms from CR but not to reply or to make calls. My not pre paid CR Sim does receive sms´s from CR. Yes, you can purchase another pre paid from Mas Movil or any other supplier to make your local and international calls. Mente |
