We generally have inferior services to the city, but I wanted to check. Do you get good fast internet at most spots in SJ? Uninterupted? I am thinking of moving to chepe for football season and just wanted to know.

I have cable with amnet and it works pretty good. I have a friend with the same cable package as me but CableTica, it seems to be reliable as well. Good luck getting DSL if you were thinking that route unless the place you get comes with a phone line. My neighbors have DSL, slow, but every time my cable goes down I can always use their wifi and their connection seems to work fine.

I have basic cable and 2mb/256kb and I wanna say it runs me around 70 a month for both since you need to pay Racsa in addition to the cable company.

Do not know about Cabletica but Amnet and Racsa have split. Both offer internet using just their service rather then splitting it up. I now use only Racsa for internet and Amnet for cable.

I have cabletica for cable and internet in Sabana Sur. 99.999638% Reliable-give or take one hundredth thousandth of a percent. I even fire off trades 9 seconds before the market closes and they always get through.

Just curious and don't mean to pry, but are you a day trader and do you make enough doing it to live on full time or supplement your lifestyle? And how much to you pay for your cable per month. Thanks.

I am not a 'day-trader' per se. Day Traders jump out of windows. The problem with day trading is that some positions on margin have to be settled each day regardless of loss. I don't know what a call, put, option, or lazy-Lucy is and don't care to.

I do try to trade my positions such as Coca-Cola each time it hits a 52 week high and buy it back down a little fairly quickly. Plus I keep a little money on the side for when my favorites such as KO gets dragged down by an ETF with the rest of the S&P500 and will buy a little and sell it when it recovers.

I am retired and don't need to trade but It's something I can do from here. If I was in the USA, I'd be buying up houses in select areas and renting them out.

My cable with every single channel offered and internet is $101.14 a month. The cable is $72.46 and the internet is $28.68.

I have Amnet cable, and I have a question. I found a great schedule of programming on their website, and bookmarked it. But a few days ago, that page changed to where you could search for shows, but you couldn't just review the schedule grid anymore. Anyone know if they still have that schedule grid, and if so where they moved it?
