Hi Guys. Life in Costa Rica may get a little less complicated for US citizens doing business or submitting for residency.
Basically, Costa Rica will now directly recognize official seals on paperwork. Previously the paperwork had to pass
through a CR consulate. Possibly for 2012 this can go into effect.

AM Costa Rica has a well-written article in today's edition, Monday 28Feb. Its on the front page.

I have five years until retirement. I have time to be patient and see how this gets implemented.

I realize that for some people, this interim period continues to be a frustration.

Hey, what can you do? Relax and go with the flow.

What's the URL? :P

(BTW-it's only March 2011, there is plenty of time until Dec 2012. But the world is supposed to end in December 2012, so we'll probably never see the online exit tax option. :( )
