I have used this car rental company twice with good experiences both times. I've done Hertz and it was a rip-off. I only found out about the Fast CR car rentals from a fellow traveler who also stated he had a good experience. http://www.fastcr.com/ |

There's an American guy who adverises in the Tico Times (see quote below). He may give you a good deal for a long-term rental. With the car rental places you are looking at $300-400/week for anything decent. Gringo Malo wrote: Call Andy 506-2282-7013. He lives in Santa Ana and advertises in Tico Times. He is an american who has a few decent older cars for about $130.00 weekly. I have rented from him about 10 times and consider him a friend.

Europcar was 177.00 a week with taxes two weeks ago. check their internastional website for pricing (the local cr website does not price but the international one does) |
