Bring smelling salts to revive you from the sticker schock when you see the price tag. Also beware that only some places can refill U.S. style tanks. |

The place I go to, outside San Isidro de General refills them. Can't think of the name right now, but it is a fairly common gas company. Also, I need to locate a medium sized fire safe. thanks |

I do not understand why the Tico gov't. denies its' people sooo much, with its' reeediculous import duties. And where does all that money go? Surely not the infrastructure, or military. Does anyone else think all the second quality items get sent here? |

F#ck a bunch of Kingsford--make your own: http://www.velvitoil.com/Charmake.htm or this: http://www.twinoaksforge.com/BLADSMITHI ... ARCOAL.htm Point being, you are in a 3rd world country--adapt, cry, or die. Also, in this pointless world, I don't ask questions about "Why?"--workarounds and self-denial work a whole lot better. |

I'd make a serious bet that CR is the repository for refurbs and returns sold in CR as new. I'd love to be wrong in this and have no proof, but still... |

Your cheapest and best bet might be to buy used through the CL postings, or ship from the States. I've shipped a Smokey Joe Webber charcoal grill as part of my clothing shipment. A gas grill might cost $200 to ship from the US via boat, 2-3 weeks. |

We have to get seriously definitional if we are going to sling around words like "degenerate". I work with a guy that lost 3 well-performing restaurants because he was a "degenerate gambler"--is that what you meant? My father died strapped to a bed in a VA hospital with his lower jaw cut away and hooked up to machines with no natural liver/kidney function because he was a "degenerate alcoholic". Is that what you meant? What is degenerate? |
