Agree 100% with Brother El Viejo. Been a paid Member a whole 10 days (at least you did that), this is your 1st post and pimpin' real estate. What's the next post gonna be--furniture rentals? |

Maybe there should be a commercial forum for buying/selling. maybe only for paid membership. I agree, the dude (dudess?) at least joined with paid membership. Why don't we have a commercial forum? for paid members only. maybe charge a premium and/or have some sort of limits. ps- this post is intended to be neither an endorsement or slur on the original post. but rather an argument for a commercial forum. |

I don't have the reference , but I believe there was some talk about just what Brother C'dude mentioned a few months back. Maybe when we go to Next Gen on the phpBB that'll happen. Most def' agree it should be restricted to paid members. __________________________________________________________________ UPDATE: According to the mid-year report there will be a classified section 4Q '09 |

I would not object to a paid commercial ad section provided it was clear that CR and Admin did not endorse anything posted there. We are smart enough to watch our own 6's. |

I disagree. I am a member and also have the ability to refer interested buys to agents in Costa Rica. I really look at alot of listings and post what I think are the best deal here. I think it is a valuable service and perfect for the living/working/investing/retiring forum. |

Western wrote: Realestateincr.com, can you tell me if there is an HDR equivalent of an ample supply of MPs in the Coco area? ![]() I think you know the answer to this one. But, it is still a good deal in a nice part of the country if you also like to surf. |

I have posted under another user, but switched up when I did the paid membership in an effort to show good will as make my listing posts. With thousands of listings in Costa Rica, I really do search out what I feel to be the best deal and will post those findings here as a service to the board...in exchange, I may be able to refer a potential buyer to an agent on site in Costa Rica (I am in the states). I am not going to SPAM the board..rather...when a good looking listing comes up, I will post it here. By the way...you want to rent 5 piece wicker living room set? ![]() |

I think there will be a dedicated commercial forum when the new website version is rolled out. you did join, and that is a good thing, better than some of the others. you may also wish to contact Admin1 and become a listed vendor that offers some sort of discount for your services/products. |

I think it is a valuable service and perfect for the living/working/investing/retiring forum. I guess Admin will have to determine this one. The CRT rules and regulations have this paragraph: Quote: 8. The board is for sharing of information between fellow CRT members VIP or not. There is a fine line between sharing information and using this forum for someone’s own personal agenda for solicitation and or advertising. If you want to share something of value fine, but continued promoting of a particular product, web site, service that you may own is strictly prohibited. Simply stated do not use this forum as your own personal area of advertisement, your post will be deleted and you will be provided an explanation via PM. Any second offense will be considered a violation and you will be banned.
Obviously this is a case of that fine line between sharing information and solicitation and or advertising. IMO having a link to a web site that is the same name as the screen name of the poster tips the scale to the solicitation and advertising side. There is room for disagreement so the ultimate judge will be the Admin. |

To the OP, I've got 2 Condo units for sale in the same area of Playas del Coco. One is in the Los Juncos community, and the other is in Las Pomas. Both units are very similar to the one you've listed here, both are fully furnished, and the listing price for each unit is less than the price you've listed for this particular unit. Sorry, but IMHO, your unit is overpriced for that area. Buena Suerte, MG ![]() |
