How good and comprehensive is Diabetes care in San Jose. Can you find all the different types of insulins...test strips..meters etc. that are available in the U.S. What about specialists. Are there Endocrinologists specialized in Diabetes care and what about Eye Care...are there ualified Retina specialists that can monitor and treat Diabetic Retinopathy and perform the required laser surgery if needed. Do any of the Major Hospitals in San Jose have a Diabetes Unit. Thx.

I'm impressed wth the Dr Ramirez of Clinica Endocrinologia y Diabetes. Speaks better english than I .
Good exam and treatment program/meds in line with US Dr.. if fact recomended I use a CR available drug ( 60 day supply for 5k)
to replace a very expensive US Rx.
I discussed with my US Dr last week and he agreeed...

30k for exam and discussion.. about 45 minutes with the Dr.

Clinic located on east side South of ave 10 near the San Jose/San Pedro line..

Also he has a HOT Nutricionista in the office... but alas...she has a boyfriend.. The good Doctor !!

Do you with which hospitals Dr Ramirez on staff? For example, does he attend patients at Clinica Biblica, Hospital Catolica, Cima, etc.
